Terms of Service

Last updated October 21, 2026 · Pebble Media LLC

The short version (the full terms below are what count)

  • NodeLens is a business tool. Use it on sites you own or have permission to work on, and crawl politely.
  • Your data and your clients' data stay yours.
  • Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do any time. New subscriptions have a 14-day money-back guarantee.
  • NodeLens gives recommendations, not ranking guarantees. You decide which changes to make.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Pebble Media LLC ("NodeLens," "we," "us") covering the website at nodelens.app, the NodeLens desktop app, and our related cloud services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, installing the app, joining the waitlist or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Services for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so; "you" then means that organization.

If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. The Services are intended for business and professional use. You may not use them if you are barred from doing so under U.S. law, including export-control and sanctions laws.

3. Accounts

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account and your workspace.
  • Workspace admins control who has access. Each seat is for one named person; seats and device activations are limited by your plan.
  • Tell us right away at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Licence to use NodeLens

Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the NodeLens app and use the Services for your internal business purposes, including delivering services to your own clients. You may not:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent or sublicense the app, except as these Terms allow;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law expressly permits;
  • bypass licence, seat, device, quota or security limits;
  • resell access to the Services or offer them as a standalone service to others;
  • use the Services to build a competing product, or to benchmark them for publication without our written permission.

The app may update itself to fix bugs, improve security or add features.

5. Free plan and early access

We may offer a free, limited version of NodeLens, free link maps, or early-access and beta features. These are provided as-is, may have usage limits, and may change or end at any time. Beta features may be less reliable than the rest of the Services.

6. Paid plans, billing and renewal

  • Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. Prices and what each plan includes are shown at checkout.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and we'll charge your payment method at the then-current price, until you cancel. For annual plans, we'll email you a reminder before renewal.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time from your billing settings in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
  • Refunds. New subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. Other refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
  • Price changes. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change applies to your subscription. If you don't want the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
  • Seats and upgrades. Adding seats or upgrading takes effect immediately and is prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated. You're responsible for applicable sales, use, VAT and similar taxes.
  • Failed payments. If a payment fails, we'll try again and let you know. If it isn't resolved, we may downgrade or suspend paid features.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • crawl, analyze or modify websites you don't own or aren't authorized to work on, or ignore a site's robots.txt rules or rate limits in a way that harms it;
  • overload, disrupt or attack any website, network or system, including ours;
  • access accounts, properties or data you aren't authorized to access, including Google properties;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights, or violate any law;
  • upload malware or attempt to probe, scan or test our systems' vulnerabilities without permission (security researchers: email us first);
  • scrape, harvest or extract data from the Services by automated means outside the features we provide.

You're responsible for the crawls you run and the changes you make to websites, including changes published through a CMS integration.

8. Your content and data

You keep all rights to the content and data you bring to NodeLens or generate with it, including crawl results, maps, reports, and data from accounts you connect ("Your Data"). You give us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide, secure and support the Services. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for Your Data, including your clients' authorization to connect their sites and analytics.

We may use aggregated, de-identified usage statistics (which don't identify you, your clients or your sites) to operate and improve the Services. We never use Google user data for this or for training AI models; see our Privacy Policy.

Share links. Anyone with a share link (and its password, if set) can view what it shows. You control and can revoke the links you create.

9. Third-party services

NodeLens works with services we don't control, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEO data providers and content management systems. Your use of them is governed by their terms. We aren't responsible for their availability, accuracy, or changes to their APIs, which may affect NodeLens features.

10. Recommendations, not guarantees

NodeLens analyzes your site's link structure and suggests changes. Search rankings depend on many factors outside anyone's control. We don't guarantee any ranking, traffic, revenue or other result. Review recommendations before acting on them; you decide what to publish.

11. Our intellectual property

The Services, including the software, design, text, graphics and the NodeLens name and logo, belong to Pebble Media LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms don't give you any rights to them except the licence in section 4. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

12. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, create a security or legal risk, or if we stop offering the Services. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and a chance to fix the problem first. If we end the Services without cause, we'll refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.

After your account closes, you can request an export of Your Data for 30 days, after which we delete it as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections 8 (last two paragraphs), 10, 11 and 13–17 survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that results will be accurate or complete.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pebble Media LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, rankings, traffic, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Services, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain of these limits, so they may not fully apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

15. Indemnity

You'll defend and indemnify Pebble Media LLC against third-party claims, and related losses and reasonable legal fees, arising from Your Data, your use of the Services in breach of these Terms or the law, or changes you make to websites using the Services.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any claim that isn't resolved must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Idaho, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. Claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class or representative action, to the extent the law allows. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring claims there.

17. General

  • Changes. We may update these Terms. We'll post the new version here, and for material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the changes.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and any order you place are the whole agreement between us about the Services.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Severability and waiver. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a provision isn't a waiver.
  • Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
  • Notices. We'll send notices to your account email. Send notices to us at [email protected] or Pebble Media LLC, [MAILING ADDRESS].
